  10. This is a sampled speech clock that works. It runs as a commodity, uses
  11. little memory, and has some neat features.
  12.  
  13. - 12 or 24 hour clock
  14. - AM/PM(12hr) or Hours(24hr) endings can be turned off or on
  15. - Hourly and 1/2 hour Chime
  16. - Chime can be deactivated at any time.
  17. - High quality 8-bit samples, sampled at 22Khz
  18. - Samples can be replaced by your own voice if you have a sampler
  19.   handy
  20. - Uses Play16.

  31. Usage:

  34. Click on it or throw it in your WBStartup Drawer. If you move the main
  35. exe out of the VCLock dir (like the WBStartup drawer) don't forget to set
  36. the PATH tooltype in VClock's Icon.

  38. READ BELOW FOR KEYS USED TO RUN VCLOCK. You can change them if you
  39. wish.

  42. Tooltypes that you can edit:
  43.  
  44. PATH      - < path > where ever your samples for VClock are.
  45.  
  46. 24Hr      - Sets 24hr mode: 0=OFF  1=ON
  47.  
  48. BEGINING  - Intro for the time. 0=OFF  1=Begining 1  2=Begining 2
  49.  
  50. ENDING    - AM/PM or Hours be spoken at the end of the time: 0=OFF  1=ON
  51.  
  52. CHIME     - Speak the time every 1/2 hour or every hour on the hour:
  53.             0=OFF    1=Every hour on the hour   2=Every 1/2 hour
  54.  
  55. VOLUME    - Sets how loud or quiet VClock speaks. (0-64) 64 is the default
  56.             and the loudest.

  58. CX_SPEAK  - Hotkey to make VClock speak (ralt f10).
  59.  
  60. CX_CHIME  - Hotkey to turn the chime on or off (ralt s). This will only have
  61.             an effect if the CHIME tooltype is set to "ON"

  63. CX_QUIT   - Hotkey to quit VClock (ralt q)

  69. 1.0   - Wrong tooltype, should have been ENDING, not HOURS

  71. 1.0b  - Changed audio channel mask to channels #2 and #3. Seems to be a bit
  72.         more friendly when other sounds try to use the audio.device.
